Brief Introduction of Keuka China Programs
Since 2002, Keuka College has successively in win-win cooperation with Tianjin University of Science & Technology, Yunnan University of Finance & Economics, and Jimei University of Fujian Province succeeding in launching the Sino-American Academic Collaboration Programs after receiving the official approval from Office of Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council. In addition, the collaboration programs with Wenzhou University of Zhejiang Province are approved by the provincial government.
Students registered for this Bachelor of Science Degree Completion Program in Management (BSM) with a qualified graduation score, will receive a dual bachelors’ degree conferred by both Chinese and American colleges, and a qualification of authoritative degree recognized by PRC and USA.
This collaboration program is student-centered, focused on quality and practical education, esp. providing a cornerstone for academic study, career preparation and personal growth. It emphasizes the effects of all the faculty upon the individual student, making every effort to create a supportive student-centered environment, teaching the students to learn from integrating theory and practice and apply knowledge, values and skills effectively in learning problem-solving, which will lay a solid foundation for the students’ further study and career.
A further stress is lay on intensifying the experiential education that the students have to receive every semester in the whole four academic years, so that they may make good preparations for experiential education before graduation, and confront the vocational challenges in full confidence after graduation. The unique teaching method has enabled the graduates under this program to gain social recognition, consequently with a very high employment rate and to the full satisfaction of companies.
Accreditation in China
Keuka College’s collaboration programs must be approved by the Department of Education of the host countries. Keuka College’s collaboration programs in China follow the rules and regulations posted by the Department of Education, PRC. All programs will be considered non-degree programs until it has officially approved by the Ministry of Education (collaboration programs approved by the provincial government, city-state, or autonomous regions will be treated as non-degree programs
